That ebook over there, RAKARA, book 3 of The Bekka Chronicles, happens to be the loon’s saner self’s homage to Edward Lear. Red Wade Lar is both an anagram of Edward Lear and the name of the leading limb rick encountered by Bekka and Kar. Do the limb ricks spout limericks? Why yes, they do. Four of Mr. Lear’s characters inhabit one of the realms explored by Bekka and Kar. They are Violet, Lionel, Guy, and Slingsby.
