This pleasant and harmless looking gathering of blooms is not what it appears to be. The loon’s triffid has informed the loon that these attractive little creatures are the triffid’s cousins, a subset of triffid known as frenzy triffids. They are not unlike the deadly piranha fish of South America. Those crimson splashes aren’t innocent. In fact, they hint at a recent and most bloody tale. And those pods, 3 across the top, one lower left? A committee of Venusian anthropologists studying the culture of frenzy triffids.
