Peering through the lovely blossoms is the local troll. Much of the creature’s right arm fills the lower left of the frame. After taking this picture, the loon had to step lively, I can tell you. Unfortunately, the rapid shoot and run left the loon with this less than satisfactory portrait of the troll. Nice blossoms, though.
