c. he couldn’t afford the alternative, never having been cast as a romantic lead in any of his several million appearances.
d. he was pretty healthy.
e. of something having to do with Ingmar Bergman and a careful arrangement of twigs.
Hmmm…gonna have to guess this one because I thought his long life came from his ability to survive the 1906 San Francisco earthquake…I’m going to say C.
