october 17 – spent the day watching the apple harvest. quite a lot of hustle and bustle. bitterman twins won bulk pickage trophy for the 4th year running. hector bitterman can lift a tractor with his teeth. huckleberry bitterman knocked perkins’ prize bull senseless with a head butt. their dad, ezra bitterman, died several years ago after he threw a train into the river. their mama, hannah, is still to this day widely avoided. such is so about the bittermans. i rest my case.
