Jade Mink materialized at Foster’s side and whispered, ‘Don’t trust Allenby.’
Foster, startled by her sudden appearance, responded, ‘Where the devil did you come from?’
‘Never mind,’ purred Jade Mink, and she melted away into the crowd.
Six times that evening at six different gatherings did Jade Mink convey her message to six different titans of industry in six different countries. On the following day, as a direct result of these brief and disquieting meetings, several governments toppled, tsunamis lashed frenzy across the oceans of the world, and mountains changed places with valleys.
Jade Mink chuckled as she entered her space pod and sailed away from Earth.
