Indeed, Sarah and anyone else who said ‘kneading the dough’, Rondo was a brilliant pastry chef. Why, he would arrive on set each morning followed by a lengthy train of his servants bearing platters of his swoon-inducing butterhorns, bearclaws, and baklava. No wonder Rondo was such a chick magnet.

Thelma often sculled in Long Beach to relax. And yes, her favorite oar was stolen. She was understandably upset because that particular oar had been autographed by the entire 1919 Black Sox Scandal baseball team. There aren’t that many Lefty Williams autographs to be had, I can tell you.
