The loon considered himself most fortunate to capture this time-traveling spider’s image of exit. Through powers of mind she had informed him of her plan to fling herself into an advantageous position somewhere near Rembrandt in order to watch him paint. She claims to be his biggest fan among spiders. The loon sees no reason to doubt her.

On the morning of her wedding day, while her maid of honor put the finishing touches on her hair, Marie contemplated her future with Lars. Meanwhile, Lars …

… was similarly occupied with thoughts of a lifelong partnership with Marie. Believe it or not, the wedding proceeded apace, and the couple remained married for 72 years. They raised 16 children and a herd of water buffaloes. Marie became a famed proctologist, and Lars lived for long stretches of time under a canoe in a hollowed out dirt bunker beneath the buffalo herd. Lars and Marie both remembered their wedding day as the happiest day in their lives.
