The diligent foal cross-referenced all of the invitations, putting a neat checkmark in her binder by each name before making the short journey to the post office, where she handed the neat stack of envelopes to the clerk and purchased 2 sheets of ‘forever’ stamps. She then crossed the street to return the pen she had borrowed from the dairy cow who owned the flower shop. After learning that the cow was lunching at Bernie’s Place, the diligent foal hurried to that eatery and successfully returned the pen.
